Job summary

Residential Transitions, Inc. (RTI) seeks a Positive Behavioral Support Analyst to support clients in the Minneapolis–St.

Paul metro area with data collection, functional behavior assessments, plan development, and training staff under clinical supervision. You will conduct ongoing staff training on plans, coordinate team meetings, and reassess progress to ensure person-centered care that improves quality of life for individuals served; some travel within the metro area is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervised experience conducting functional behavior assessments.
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field with expertise in positive support services.

Responsibilities

• Development of positive behavior support plans to teach an alternative, positive behavior that will result in an increase in a person’s quality of life and decrease of the challenging behavior.
• Ongoing training for staff on developed plans
• Periodic reassessment and modification of the plan(Use of person-centered approaches that incorporate a comprehensive, functional behavior assessment of both positive and challenging behavior.
• 1:1 meeting with individuals served
• Facilitate team meetings and provide feedback to support team.
