Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral science.
• Two years of direct service experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Meets all personnel and established training requirements.
• Six hours per year of professional development in psychology, behavioral supports, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Evaluating Participants to identify behavioral challenges and strengths.
• Intervention Design: Developing and implementing strategies that encourage desirable behaviors using positive reinforcement.
• Skill Building: Teaching individuals new skills and behaviors to support development.
• Support: Guiding families and caregivers to apply strategies in various settings.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
• Collaboration: Working with educators and therapists to integrate plans.
