Job summary

BD is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the D shift (6pm-6am) in Nebraska/Columbus. The role focuses on operating equipment, maintaining GMP standards and accurate data records. You will support changeovers, assist with repairs, and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.

Education requirements include a High School diploma or GED, with GED plus three years of manufacturing experience also accepted. No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment to meet quality and GMP standards.

• Keep machinery and work areas neat, clean and compliant with GMP.

Job Description

This position is D shift 6pm-6am.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks in assigned operations listed below and operate all respective equipment at a rate equal to or above established standards while maintaining all quality and GMP standards
• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance
• Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers
• Assist line technicians with equipment repair or trouble shooting
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and follow GMP requirements
• Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required
• Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels
• Work as team member to develop optimal task methods
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

In lieu of High School diploma - GED with three years manufacturing experience is required
