Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support production in a fast-paced environment in Nebraska. You will perform visual inspections, operate equipment, and ensure quality and GMP standards are met while maintaining efficient line performance.

Responsibilities include changeovers, data entry in SAP/MES, and cross-training to support department goals. On-site presence is required, with a focus on safety and teamwork to deliver reliable health care products.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or two years manufacturing experience in lieu.
• Two years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with MES and SAP is beneficial.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspection and operate equipment to support production goals.
• Execute changeovers, line clearance and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain quality and GMP standards and perform SAP data entries.
• Support root-cause analysis and participate in blitz teams as needed.

Job Description Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work as one of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, which includes product inspection, operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements and clean room area and equipment cleaning / sanitizing
• Perform visual inspections
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment
• Perform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning
• Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment
• Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks
• Perform rework
• Cross train where needed within the department to support the business
• Maintain all quality and GMP standards
• Perform needed SAP data entries
• May require the use of 10x microscope, calipers, and/or other miscellaneous gauges
• Participate on blitz teams as assigned
• Achieving established production goals
• Ensuring the quality of all product produced
• Performing quality checks as designated
• Ability to function as part of a team
• Processing SAP and MES transactions for department
• Assisting in the BDA process to identify root causes
• Maintain compliance with all required document training
• Operate lines in a safe and efficient manner
• Drive department results by reducing downtime and completing tasks in an efficient manner
• Maximize efficient time usage in the department
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

Education:

• High School diploma/GED preferred
• In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience is required

Experience:

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous experience with MES preferred
• Previous experience with precision measuring instruments preferred
