Job summary

BD in the USA, NE – Columbus (West) is hiring for a C Shift - JG1 manufacturing operator to perform assigned operations and run equipment to meet quality and GMP standards.

No specific experience required; a High School diploma/GED is preferred, or three years manufacturing experience in lieu. You will monitor quality, adjust equipment, assist with changeovers, document results, and support a collaborative team. BD provides competitive pay and a robust benefits package.

C Shift - JG1

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks in assigned operations listed below and operate all respective equipment at a rate equal to or above established standards while maintaining all quality and GMP standards.
• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance
• Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity.
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians with equipment repair or trouble shooting.
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and follow GMP requirements.
• Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required.
• Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels.
• Work as team member to develop optimal task methods.
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

Education:

• High School diploma/GED preferred
• In lieu of High School diploma/GED, three years manufacturing experience is required
