Job summary

BD is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the C Shift in Columbus, NE. You will operate assigned equipment, monitor product quality, perform adjustments, and support changeovers while adhering to GMP standards.

High school diploma/GED preferred; if not, three years of manufacturing experience satisfies qualification. This on-site role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits to eligible associates. Collaborate with teammates to optimize tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

C Shift - JG1

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks in assigned operations listed below and operate all respective equipment at a rate equal to or above established standards while maintaining all quality and GMP standards.
• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance
• Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity.
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians with equipment repair or trouble shooting.
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and follow GMP requirements.
• Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required.
• Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels.
• Work as team member to develop optimal task methods.
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

Education

• High School diploma/GED preferred
• In lieu of High School diploma/GED, three years manufacturing experience is required
