Job summary

BD in Columbus, OH is seeking a Night Shift Manufacturing Operator to ensure product quality and efficiency during 6pm–6am operations. You will operate equipment, perform changeovers, maintain GMP compliance and detailed documentation, and support daily production goals.

No prior experience required; a HS diploma or GED is preferred, with GED plus three years manufacturing experience acceptable in lieu of a diploma.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment to meet or exceed standards while maintaining GMP.</br>Monitor product quality and equipment performance.

• Keep area clean, follow GMP requirements, and document data accurately.
• Communicate with scheduling to maintain inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team to optimize tasks and methods.
• Perform quality inspections and record results.

Job description

This position is D shift 6pm-6am.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks in assigned operations listed below and operate all respective equipment at a rate equal to or above established standards while maintaining all quality and GMP standards
• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance
• Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers
• Assist line technicians with equipment repair or trouble shooting
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and follow GMP requirements
• Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required
• Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels
• Work as team member to develop optimal task methods
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

Education:

• High School diploma/GED preferred
• In lieu of High School diploma - GED with three years manufacturing experience is required
