Job summary

Wawa, Inc. is seeking a POS Systems Analyst II for the 2nd shift to provide tier 2 support for POS and interfacing systems. You will handle provisioning, configuration, testing, and support for new stores to ensure on-time openings and smooth operations.

The role requires strong problem‑solving, PowerShell and SQL skills, and collaboration with vendors. This position is based in the Corporate IT department and includes responsibility for deployments and ongoing POS enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a technical discipline preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of retail POS experience preferred.
• Experience in a PCI compliant environment.
• Proficient with MS SQL Server and PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of problems impacting multiple stores and document findings.
• Guide off‑shore contractors and junior team members in troubleshooting.
• Deploy software upgrades and ensure successful store readiness.
• Create deployment plans with validation steps for hotfixes.
• Provide weekly status reports on open problems and store readiness.
• Document support procedures and maintainKnowledgebase.
