Position Overview
This role is an ideal opportunity for a motivated IT professional with 2‑4 years of experience to own critical restaurant technology infrastructure across our multi‑location portfolio. As the go‑to expert for our Toast POS ecosystem, you will ensure seamless operations across all properties while supporting our continued expansion.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an administrator for Toast POS systems across multiple restaurant locations, focusing on Multi‑Location Management (MLM) configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve POS issues quickly to minimize operational disruption.
- Configure and optimize Toast POS features, including menu management, payment processing, reporting, and third‑party integrations.
- Maintain system documentation and create user guides for restaurant teams.
- Lead POS installations for new restaurant openings, ensuring smooth launches.
- Manage system conversions and upgrades with minimal downtime.
- Travel to various locations for hands‑on support during critical implementations.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to meet project timelines.
- Conduct engaging training sessions for restaurant staff at all levels.
- Build strong relationships with restaurant managers to understand their technology needs.
- Provide responsive support that matches the pace of restaurant operations.
- Create and maintain training materials tailored to different user groups.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands‑on experience with POS systems, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong working knowledge of the Toast POS platform, particularly in multi‑location environments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.
- Experience training non‑technical users on technology systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Professional Polish: You present yourself well and can interface confidently with everyone from line cooks to executive leadership.
