Job summary

HONEST WEIGHT FOOD CO-OP INC. seeks a POS Coordinator to maintain pricing in the POS system and ensure shelf accuracy, while supporting Instacart data management and staff training. The role focuses on data integrity, pricing execution, and cross-Department collaboration.

It is a Full-Time IT position offering $25/hour non-exempt, with responsibilities spanning data maintenance, administrative support, and system-wide POS enhancements. Weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with retail pricing and margin management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• At least one year of experience in database management.
• Demonstrated ability to cooperate and communicate well with others.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Data Maintenance: Update costs in the sales management system; cross reference vendor files and invoices.
• Update pricing from UNFI data to generate batches and print shelf tags.
• Maintain item location by aisle/shelf in SMS and Instacart availability.
• Maintain data in Instacart catalog and local database, add new items and retire discontinued items.
• Assist marketing with photographing items for the Instacart site.
• Provide computer training and technical assistance to Co-op staff.
• Support training on the back end of SMS storewide.
• Manage pricing execution, ensuring accuracy in SMS and shelf tags.
