Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a cashier is a plus.
• Ability to read and verify credit card numbers with aids if needed.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and assists customers.
• Operates the POS system and processes transactions.
• Handles payments including credit cards and accounts sales.
• Processes orders, backorders, and special requests.
• Maintains store cleanliness and helps stock shelves.
• Works with management to ensure a safe, clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
