Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and POS equipment accurately & efficiently.
• Scan and bag items quickly and accurately.
• Receive payment by cash, credit/debit cards, or gift cards with receipts.
• Issue change, refunds, or credits with receipts for each transaction.
• Process merchandise returns and exchanges per store policies.
• Redeem food stamps and coupons if applicable.
• Count money in the cash drawer at the start and end of shift to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare shift reports and reports required by management.
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Assist customers inside and outside the store at pumps as needed.
