Vibrant Works at Goodfellow AFB, TX is seeking a part-time cashier to support daily operations at the Base Service Center. You will handle POS transactions, assist customers, and ensure accurate payment processing while maintaining a clean sales area.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing credit card payments, stocking shelves, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality service in a nonprofit environment where equal opportunity applies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a cashier.
• Nonprofit experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greets, directs and assists customers.
• Operates the Counterpoint point of sales system
• Processes transactions in the point of sales system
• Receives and processes payment from customers – credit card and customer account sales
• Processes customer orders, backorders, drop shipments and researches customer orders
• Assists customers with unique and hard-to-find items
• Ensures cleanliness of store; sweeps and cleans the sales counter and surrounding area as needed
• Assists in stocking of shelves and items
• Completes special projects as needed
• Works with store management to create a safe, clean, and healthy work environment
• Other duties as assigned
