POS Architect (Point of Sales)

• Job Summary:Rewritten for the client’s discovery and design phase, with the remote/hybrid and NYC travel note
• Platform focus:New Black EVA preferred; with Aptos (Existing POS with the Client), and other leading POS platforms considered
• New section:About the Engagement (scope, master data, transactions, payments)
• Key Responsibilities:Expanded and grouped into Discovery, Target-State Design, Integration, Payments/Security, Observability, and Leadership
• Integration depth:Added canonical data, streaming/bulk ingestion, claim-check, retry/redrive/replay, and schema governance needed for the initial POS project phase.
• Retail processes:Tailored to fashion (style/color/size, clienteling, endless aisle, multi-brand)
• Required Qualifications:Added discovery/design experience, master data integration, architecture artifacts, workshop facilitation, and travel willingness
• Preferred Qualifications:Added New Black EVA in fashion retail, multi-brand programs, GCP services, and Adyen (Client's Payment Provider)
• Technical and Soft Skills:Updated to match integration patterns, workshop facilitation, and vendor management needed
• Nice to Have:Adde clienteling, RFID, and SI/consulting background

Estimated Min Rate: $59.50 Estimated Max Rate: $85.00
