Overview

We're seeking a Solutions Architect to drive solution design and delivery architecture across a portfolio supporting corporate functions including Finance, Risk, and Investments. This role requires a strong blend of enterprise architecture + hands-on engineering mindset, with the ability to partner directly with business stakeholders and present technical direction to senior leaders.

This is a highly visible role where you will influence solution strategy, guide delivery teams, and ensure designs align to architecture standards, security requirements, and modern engineering practices.

Work Location / Schedule

Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) - candidates must be able to work onsite in one of the following locations:

• New Jersey (Holmdel area)
• New York, NY
• Stamford, CT
• Bethlehem, PA

What You’ll Do

• Own product/team-level solution architecture and delivery design within a value stream.
• Design and document end-to-end architectures across application, integration, data, and infrastructure.
• Partner with product owners and technical leads to align roadmaps, MVP scope, and trade-offs.
• Ensure solutions align to architecture standards, security requirements, and established patterns/guardrails.
• Collaborate with enterprise/platform teams to reuse shared capabilities and reduce duplication.
• Identify and help remove technical dependencies and delivery impediments.
• Provide hands‑on guidance on design quality, code structure, and technical approaches.
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts and help evaluate emerging tools and frameworks (including GenAI where applicable).
• Mentor engineers on architecture principles and decision‑making.
• Continuously seek opportunities to reduce technical debt, simplify designs, and improve delivery efficiency.
• Participate as needed during major production incidents affecting business operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale technology solutions.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, data integration, and modern application architectures.
• Experience designing hybrid architectures (mix of on‑prem + public cloud).
• Experience working in Agile / product‑based delivery models.
• Strong communication skills‑able to translate technical concepts for business partners and delivery stakeholders.
• Experience producing technical design documentation at product/team level.
• Background supporting business‑critical systems in regulated environments; insurance domain experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks/tools/best practices is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle strategic conversations, challenging discussions, and executive‑facing presentations.

Estimated Min Rate: $126000.00

Estimated Max Rate: $180000.00
