Job Title: Portuguese Language Instructor

Job Type: Part-time; per course

Location: Downtown Boston and in the Boston area

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking to expand our language offerings and are looking to hire a Portuguese teacher (Iberian and/or Brazilian) for private classes and small groups of all levels for adults. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic instructor who is comfortable working in a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate will:

Have a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Portuguese Language and Literature, or a related field

Have native fluency in Portuguese

Have 2 years’ experience teaching Portuguese to adults in both group and private classes

Be able to work independently to design language curricula

Have demonstrated ability to effectively engage students of all levels

Have experience in multicultural settings and working with a diverse team

Preferred qualifications include:

A Master’s degree or higher in related field

Fluency in Spanish and/or English

Ability/interest in teaching any additional languages
