Job summary

Boston Area Spanish Exchange is seeking a Portuguese Language Instructor to lead private and small group classes for adults. The position is part-time, per course, with a flexible schedule in Downtown Boston and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or higher in Portuguese Language and Literature (or related field), native fluency, and at least two years of teaching adults in both group and private settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Portuguese Language and Literature, or related field.
• Native fluency in Portuguese.
• 2 years’ experience teaching Portuguese to adults in both group and private classes.
• Ability to design language curricula independently.
• Ability to engage students of all levels.
• Experience in multicultural settings and diverse teams.
