We are hiring hourly interpreters to work from home! Provide interpreting services via telephone to our customers and their clients, all from the comfort of your home.

We serve clients nationwide in over 240 languages and dialects. Our interpreters are vital to us. We value their expertise, job satisfaction, and ability to support their families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Faithfully interpret everything said into the target language without adding, omitting, or altering content.
• Maintain impartiality and avoid bias or preferences during interpretation.
• Interpret in the first person, clarify when necessary, and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Be aware of cultural differences and explain them when appropriate.
• Continuously improve interpreting skills and uphold high customer service standards.

Qualifications Required

• Fluent in Portuguese
• Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily
• Must be located within the United States

Language Skills Required

• Ability to read and understand instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Effective communication in one-on-one and small group settings with clients and colleagues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18-$30 hourly, based on experience, training, education, and location.
