Job summary

The Part Works, a Portland-area plumbing parts distributor, is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to own a Portland territory, building direct relationships with facilities and maintenance buyers at universities and hospitals. You'll report to our Sales Manager, get hands-on product training from day one, a $65,000 base salary plus uncapped commission and a real say in how we expand across Oregon.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience.
• Track record of prospecting, developing, and growing new customer accounts.
• Experience managing an assigned sales territory and hitting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude — comfortable learning technical products.
• Experience with CRM software to manage pipeline and customer relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience as a plumber or in facilities maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and grow a dedicated Portland-area territory, with a focus on new B2B accounts
• Build direct relationships with facilities, maintenance, and procurement buyers at institutions like universities and hospitals
• Learn the plumbing parts business hands-on — from experienced teammates, vendor partners, and on-the-job training
• Manage your pipeline and account activity in our CRM, and keep customers informed and supported through the full order cycle
• Partner with the Portland and National teams on strategy as we expand across Oregon
