Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five years.
• 2 years of circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 5 years.
• Oregon RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, provide, and evaluate nursing care for patients during the inter-operative phase.
• Monitor and take corrective action to prevent recurring absences.
• Comply with shift, unit, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Participate in clinic and nursing Quality Assurance Programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organizational records (HIPAA Standards).
• Utilize assessment data when instituting a plan of care.
• Organize nursing activities efficiently in both circulating and scrub roles.
• Evaluate and document patient outcomes.
• Maintain safety in the use of all equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
