Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
• 2 years of experience circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 5 years.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
• Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Representative Functions or Duties: adhere to professional practice standards and policies; ensure reliability and attendance; maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational records; participate in staff meetings; promote collaboration within the health care team.
• Planning Standard of Performance: use assessment data to plan care; tailor nursing plan to patient development; ensure age-appropriate education for patients and families.
• Implementation Standard of Performance: position and transfer patients correctly; organize nursing activities; document information per policy.
• Evaluation Standard of Performance: evaluate and document patient outcomes; participate in unit quality assurance monthly.
• Safety Management Standard of Performance: maintain equipment safety per instructions and policy.
