Job summary

GeoEngineers in Portland, OR is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Construction Design Group. You’ll deliver geo-structural solutions for excavation support, deep foundations, and related facilities, working with contractors and design partners to produce practical designs.

You will develop technical depth under mentorship, expand project management responsibilities, and own portions of projects with oversight from a PE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to geo-structural design like excavation support systems and deep foundations.
• Perform analyses in areas such as steel design, deep foundations, slope stability modeling, and ground improvement.
• Create project drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
• Provide constructible, efficient solutions and coordinate with teams and clients.
• Support project management tasks including budgets, field reviews, and client meetings.
• Lead or coordinate field observations and construction activities.
• Assist in business development and marketing activities.
