Selby Jennings is partnering with a growing lower middle market private equity firm to hire a Private Equity Value Creation Associate for its portfolio operations team in Raleigh, NC.

You will work directly with management and investment professionals to drive growth, operational improvements, and value creation across multiple founder-led businesses, embedded with leadership teams and focused on execution over theory.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate development, strategy, operations, or private equity.
• Strong project management, analytical, and financial acumen.

Responsabilidades

• Partner directly with portfolio company executives to execute strategic and operational initiatives
• Drive accountability and progress across value creation workstreams
• Monitor business performance through KPIs, operational metrics, and financial reporting
• Support growth initiatives, operational improvement projects, and integrations after acquisitions
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, profitability, and growth
• Coordinate stakeholders, track deliverables, and move initiatives from planning to execution
• Assist with board reporting, management presentations, and portfolio reviews
• Collaborate with investment and operating teams to support thesis execution
