Slalom Build is seeking a Principal Portfolio Manager to lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives, blending product, program, and project delivery to achieve measurable business outcomes. You will oversee interconnected investments, drive executive decision-making, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.

This role demands a leader who combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, partnering with business, product, and technology teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading strategic portfolios in consulting or enterprise environments.
• Proven track record managing a portfolio spanning product management, program delivery, and project execution.
• Strong understanding of product operating models, lifecycle, and roadmaps.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across business, technology, operations, data and product.
• Ability to translate technology investments into business outcomes and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Expertise in portfolio governance, prioritization, dependency management, financial oversight, resource planning, and executive reporting.
• Proven track record building executive stakeholder relationships and influencing decisions.
• Experience with digital, cloud, data, customer experience, or modernization programs.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Mentor delivery leaders and evolve portfolio management practices.
• Leverage data and AI-enabled tools to improve decision-making and forecasting.
• Support business development and executive conversations around transformation.
