Job summary

The University of Arizona Foundation seeks a strategic Portfolio Advisor to partner with frontline fundraising staff, leadership, and stakeholders. You will guide portfolio identification, qualification, and movement through the donor pipeline, using analytics and fundraising intelligence to optimize performance.

Reporting to senior leaders, you will influence decisions on portfolio assignments, governance, and resource allocation, while coaching teams on best practices and CRM usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or experiential equivalent.
• Proficiency with database work, CRMs and reporting tools (Salesforce, Blackbaud CRM, Raiser's Edge NXT, Advance).
• Experience with CRM systems and data tools in higher education or non-profit contexts.
• Strong portfolio analysis and fundraising analytics capability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as portfolio management expert for prospect development and donor strategy.
• Lead portfolio reviews with development officers and managers to identify actions for fundraising improvement.
• Analyze portfolio health and pipeline trends to inform leadership decisions.
• Provide data-driven insights and dashboards to advancement leadership.
• Collaborate across research, analytics, campaign strategy, and operations teams.
