Job summary

The University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) is seeking an Associate Donor Relations Officer to manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospects, leading engagement, fundraising, and stewardship activities that strengthen long-term donor relationships.

Reporting to the Director of Development, the role combines portfolio management with donor communications, gift acknowledgment, reporting, and donor data oversight, with the aim of advancing philanthropic support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or three years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced ability to manage a donor portfolio with initiative and growing strategic responsibility.
Excellent writing, research, editorial, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of individual donors with cultivation and stewardship strategies.
Coordinate donor communications, proposals, reports, and acknowledgments.
Collaborate with UC ANR leadership, frontline fundraisers, and development partners.
Support annual reporting and gift acknowledgment activities and donor data oversight.
