Job summary

ACM Corporate in Chamblee, GA is seeking a Senior Property Accountant II to prepare monthly operating financial statements for a portfolio of properties and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires 4–6 years of property management accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders; reports to the VP of Accounting.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of property management accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of property management accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete monthly operating financial statements for 5–8 individual properties.
• Track and reconcile cash activity, including receipts and disbursements.
• Perform monthly bank account reconciliations.
• Ensure timely payment and monitoring of critical expenses, including mortgages and insurance.
• Collaborate with property managers to provide information for financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records within property management accounting software.
