Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a US Position Reporting professional within the Controllers group to manage position reporting, beneficial ownership, and regulatory disclosure obligations. You will partner with Business, Compliance, Legal, and Engineering to support regulatory requirements, improve data quality, and drive automation and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years in Financial Services, Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, Operations, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work with large and complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; high attention to detail.
• Ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders; risk and control awareness.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
• Experience with regulatory reporting, controls, or risk management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in beneficial ownership, large Option Position Reporting, major shareholder, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor reporting obligations, position limits, and thresholds to ensure compliance.
• Review daily exceptions, investigate control breaks, and drive remediation with stakeholders.
• Manage escalation processes for reporting exceptions and regulatory risks.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Business stakeholders on mitigation strategies.
• Analyze positions and exposures across equities, derivatives, and other instruments.
• Support responses to regulatory inquiries, examinations, and regulator requests.
