Job summary

Indigo Real Estate Services seeks an experienced property manager to oversee multiple on-site communities, supervise staff, ensure asset integrity, and drive occupancy and financial performance within the portfolio.

Responsibilities include site inspections, budget development, regulatory compliance (Fair Housing, ADA), vendor relations, and collaboration with ownership representatives to achieve property goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience at on-site and supervisory levels including multi-site responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and team building abilities.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively interact with ownership representatives.
• Proficient in understanding financial statements and creating business plans/budgets.
• Preferred Affordable Housing experience.
• Possess a working knowledge of property management software, Federal Fair Housing, Landlord/Tenant and ADA legislation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of the physical assets and maximize returns from those assets.
• Oversee regulatory compliance related to owner's financing and owner's mission.
• Supervise, training, and development oversight of all personnel within the management portfolio.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and communities within the portfolio.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate progress and needs of the communities.
• Oversee marketing and leasing; supervise team leaders and management; review rental applications for policies.
• Manage revenue; supervise rent collection and approve rate recommendations.
• Develop annual property management plan and operating budget; review monthly financial reports.
• Approve expenditures and payments; ensure policy compliance.
• Handle employee selection, training, and compliance with policies; maintain property records.
