Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager in Denver to lead credit oversight for a growing IPP-focused portfolio.

You will underwrite diverse credit exposures, manage risk, and work with Relationship Management, Product, and Impact Finance teams to drive revenue growth and disciplined portfolio expansion. The role requires 8+ years in corporate banking or project finance, deep knowledge of power markets, and strong financial modeling and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate banking and/or project finance with a focus on power & energy sector.
• Experience managing complex credit portfolios with corporate and non-recourse structures.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite all types of credit account exposure.
• Manage an assigned credit portfolio and related risks.
• Close new business relationships and expand existing ones.
• Collaborate with Relationship Management, Product, and Impact Finance teams.
• Provide customer service and support on prospect or customer credit questions.
