Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Credit Portfolio Manager to join the Insurance Premium Finance (IPF) Credit Portfolio Management team.

The role partners with Relationship Managers to manage and grow IPF credit relationships and supports retention and expansion opportunities aligned with the business strategy. Primary responsibilities include underwriting, due diligence, coordination with Credit Risk Management, and participation in client calls.

Qualifications

• Thorough credit underwriting knowledge and ability to assess complex opportunities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication for credit memos and discussions.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill underwriting requirements with accurate credit memos.
• Perform due diligence on borrowers and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Credit Risk Management and other groups to ensure quality credit documents.
• Participate in credit approval discussions and joint client calls.
• Ensure timely covenant compliance and collateral valuations.
• Assist relationship managers with loan structuring to balance risk and opportunity.
• Review credit agreements with internal/external counsel to ensure accuracy.
