The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for two or more business units within the CORA Group but have no more than one business unit that they have direct operational responsibility for. The growth of your team, operational excellence, and the number of business units within your portfolio are the key focus areas. These focal areas will require attention and activities to increase knowledge transfer and guidance for the business unit leaders and their direct managers. Significant time spent on M&A activities including but not limited to, early-stage business development, due diligence, negotiations, and integration. Forward-looking strategic structural planning and implementation to support these growth areas.
This position is of the utmost importance for establishing a successful foundation to build the next CORA Operating Group. This person will report to CORA Group CEO.
Some of the major accountabilities could be summarized as follows:
Manage a portfolio of acquired companies in line with the strategy of CORA Group.
Manage and lead cross-functional, collaborative, workstream execution efforts, with both local and global business executives.
Coach local business unit leaders in company best practices and help them achieve mastery within their respective domains.
Maintain operational excellence and focus on delivering ratios in accordance with Jonas Software's best practices.
Deals origin. Networking, analyzing, and identifying potential target companies for acquisition.
Shape the development of the business portfolio including establishing a deal pipeline and supporting the prioritization of M&A focus.
Formulate proposals for transaction terms and support the negotiating of transactions.

Candidate Qualifications
University degree / academic mindset. MBA as an asset.
At least 10 years of experience relevant to this position, ideally with experience both in transactions (M&A, integrations, etc.) and in management positions.
Experience and affiliation with software and technology in general.
Analytical skills combined with a well-structured, collaborative, and bold approach.
Project management skills and ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
Progressive track record, including leadership and management skills to oversee business development effectively within a forward-thinking organization. Track record of dealing with operational improvement, change, and turnarounds.
A self-starting individual with a high focus on autonomy.
Excellent communication skills (both verbally and in writing).
