The role requires commercial real estate experience and strong negotiation and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• 1–2 years commercial real estate, lease administration, or retail leasing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including basic Excel formulas.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate lease renewals for existing retail locations.
• Monitor lease expirations and develop timely renewal and action plans.
• Review co-tenancy provisions and address actual or potential violations.
• Evaluate kickout provisions and negotiate available options.
• Communicate with landlords and property representatives regarding lease terms and compliance matters.
• Maintain accurate records of negotiations, critical dates, and lease-related decisions.
• Partner with the Real Estate and Leasing team and other internal stakeholders to resolve lease issues and protect company interests.

SHOE SHOW, INC., the country's largest privately held footwear retailer in business for 66 years with nearly 1,000 stores in 47 states, is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team. This position is avaible at the Corporate Office located in Concord, NC.

What You Should Know

As the Portfolio Manager, you will oversee lease renewals, expirations, and tenant negotiations. The ideal candidate will have commercial real estate experience, strong negotiation and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Tenant-side experience is preferred; however, landlord-side experience is also acceptable.

What You Will Do
