We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Manager I to join our Commercial Lending team in our Mifflin and Juniata market. In this role, you will partner with Relationship Managers to support, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial and industrial lending relationships. Responsibilities include underwriting, monitoring, servicing loans, providing exceptional client service, and promoting banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to oversee commercial loan portfolios.
• Monitor portfolio performance, ensure compliance, and identify risks.
• Analyze financial statements to evaluate creditworthiness and assign risk ratings.
• Maintain accurate credit files and documentation.
• Manage delinquent accounts and escalate issues as needed.

Credit Analysis and Loan Structuring

• Prepare credit recommendations, covenant analysis, and collateral evaluations.
• Negotiate credit terms and ensure proper documentation.

Client Engagement and Sales Support

• Conduct client interviews to assess financial needs and recommend solutions.
• Promote cross-selling of bank products and services.
• Participate in business development and community initiatives.

Operational Support

• Support financial transactions and back-office functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in commercial banking or credit analysis.
• Knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills.
• Sales acumen and client service focus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Physical Requirements

• Primarily office-based; sedentary with moderate physical activity.
