Job summary

SimCorp in New York, NY, seeks a seasoned Portfolio Management Solutions Engineer for the Americas, guiding go-to-market and client demonstrations of SimCorp One. You will work with Sales, Product, and Success teams to tailor solutions for front-office needs.

The role demands extensive PMS knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to travel. A university degree and experience with diverse asset classes are essential. Hybrid remote work up to 3 days per week is supported.

Qualifications

• 12+ years’ experience in Financial Services with front office Buyside exposure.
• University degree in business or technology.
• Strong knowledge of PMS, Risk Analytics, Portfolio Optimization and Attribution.
• Experience with multiple asset classes including fixed income, equities and derivatives.
• Knowledge of Compliance, EMS, OMS and TCA is desirable.
• Experience with SimCorp One front office workflows is highly desirable.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel as required and hybrid remote work up to 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME on Portfolio Management in the Americas.
• Collaborate with sales to upsell and tailor solutions to client needs.
• Prepare and facilitate detailed SimCorp One demonstrations and workshops.
• Hold regular meetings with prospects to understand current tech usage and unlock additional functionality.
• Review RFIs/RFPs and respond with compelling information.
• Ensure knowledge transfer from sales to implementation post-contract.
• Provide input to product team on market trends and client requirements.
• Mentor junior Solution Engineers and build demo systems for client scenarios.
