Thor Equities in New York is seeking an Investment Analyst to manage and analyze stock portfolios, provide buy/sell/hold recommendations, and diversify investments to boost performance.

You will study economic trends, evaluate stock history, prepare reports for Family Office management, collect financial data, build forward-looking models, and perform due diligence on current and future opportunities, helping shape long-term financial planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or economics required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of portfolio or investment management experience.
• Strong mathematical and financial acumen for evaluating investments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze stock portfolio; make buy/sell/hold recommendations and diversify to enhance performance.
• Study economic trends and historical stock performance; prepare reports for Family Office management.
• Interpret external financial statements, price moves, currency adjustments and yields to advise strategy.
• Create financial models with forward-looking market expectations to project earnings.
• Perform due diligence on current and future investments.
• Develop proposals for new investment opportunities.
• Escalate portfolio changes within Family Office.
• Develop long-term financial planning options as needed.
