Job summary

Crossover is hiring for a VP Portfolio Operations in Dallas to own the execution layer of a multi-initiative EdTech portfolio. You will deliver AI-powered dashboards, vendor scorecards, and contract controls to ensure executives can act quickly and confidently on $50M program decisions.

You will oversee procurement, SOW development, and contract validation, driving measurable outcomes and reducing spend drift while maintaining governance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Directly owned a portfolio of 10+ concurrent initiatives with at least $5M in budget responsibility
• Managed 5+ external technology vendors simultaneously
• Built portfolio dashboards covering delivery health, budget burn vs forecast, milestones and risks
• Proven track record of going/no-go decisions with C-suite using portfolio data
• Led competitive technology procurement, including bid evaluation and vendor scoring
• Authored SOWs with measurable deliverables and milestones
• Negotiated commercial terms and enforced them through invoices

Responsibilities

• Produce AI-powered dashboards and scorecards for executives
• Run vendor performance reviews and maintain rubric-based scorecards
• Lead procurement with structured bid packages and evidence-backed recommendations
• Govern contracts and invoices by tracking fee caps, milestones, and amendments
• Validate invoices against signed terms before spend approval
• Use AI to analyze portfolio data and draft decision-ready outputs
