Nationwide is seeking aRisk Analytics Researcher to lead the development of advanced credit risk models for corporate bonds, commercial mortgage loans, and structured assets. You will collaborate with finance teams to produce production-ready models and validate them rigorously.

You will guide junior analysts and contribute to building the specialty finance capabilities, with opportunities to influence pricing and risk management strategies across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, mathematics or related subject area.
• Graduate-level studies in a related field welcomed.
• Typically five+ years of related work experience in financial risk modeling.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement financial engineering, data science and statistical techniques for risk management.
• Complete regular testing of risk limits to guide asset allocation and product decisions.
• Own complex quantitative modeling processes and document methodologies.
