Position Overview: We are seeking a Portfolio Consulting Manager to lead a new Power Technologies International (PTI) team that develops and provides cutting-edge technical consulting services to Utilities, Regional Transmission Organizations, and energy asset owners. This is a remote position based in the contiguous U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expand Siemens PTI’s consulting business in power grid analysis, system dynamics, transients, interconnection, and grid code compliance.
2. Maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.
3. Lead proposal development in response to RFPs and client inquiries.
4. Manage project execution, monitor progress, and adjust scope, schedule, budget, and quality as needed.
5. Lead, manage, and develop a team of consultants, providing feedback, mentoring, and career development support.
6. Collaborate with other Siemens Business Units for comprehensive customer engagement.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power and Energy Systems.
2. Proven experience in power systems analysis for utilities, ISOs, RTOs, or developers.
3. Experience leading and developing teams.
4. Knowledge of grid simulation software such as PSSE, TSAT, TARA, PSLF, PowerWorld, PSCAD, etc.
5. Understanding of NERC Reliability Standards and regional planning criteria.
6. Strong communication, presentation, and technical report writing skills.
7. Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~10%).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience in power systems analysis.
2. 2+ years of experience managing or developing teams.
3. Prior consulting experience.
4. Experience with MISO and/or SPP regions.

Benefits: Siemens offers comprehensive health and wellness benefits. The salary range is $100,450 – 206,640, with potential incentives. Actual compensation depends on experience and location.
