Duke Energy's Project Management & Construction (PMC) organization seeks a Lead Business & Technical Consultant to coordinate cross-functional work, advance portfolio performance, and drive governance and improvement initiatives across System Planning and Construction. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and enterprise-wide impact.

The candidate will convert data and process information into insights to support project management and construction for the generation modernization

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field.
Nine years of related work experience; or 15+ years with HS/GED.

Responsibilities

Provide business and technology expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve high-impact, cross-functional issues at corporate or industry level.
Plan and coordinate high-impact, complex business and technology studies and projects with broad scope.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and maintain accurate records and files.
Develop productive relationships with leaders across PMC and support units to understand business needs.
Frame problems with stakeholders and define the analytical context and scope for timely results.
Lead sessions to develop alternatives and evaluate uncertainty, value, and risk preferences.
Present analytical results clearly to decision-makers and develop actionable recommendations.
