Job summary

Brown Advisory is seeking a dynamic Operations professional to support reporting for complex client relationships via Addepar. This role will join a growing team and help ensure timely, accurate reporting and data governance across private equity, hedge funds, and real assets.

Responsibilities include onboarding large clients, developing new assets, generating monthly/quarterly reports, and driving process improvements. Requires Addepar/Canoe experience and strong Excel abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; finance, accounting, or economics focus preferred.
• Experience using Addepar and Canoe required.
• Advent/APX or eFront experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong Excel skills incl. macros and VLOOKUP.
• Knowledge of private equity, hedge funds, real assets, and market mechanics.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; time management skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own operational processes within Addepar, the firm's portfolio system.
• On-board large client relationships with complex assets.
• Lead back-objects for large, complex relationships.
• Work with investment teams to create new assets and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc client reports.
• Analyze investment data, positions, transactions and performance.
• Troubleshoot reporting or process errors; propose solutions.
• Manage projects to improve reporting content and meet business goals.
• Document key operational processes and data governance.
• Develop industry insights through networking and research.
