Job summary

Brown Advisory is seeking a Senior Addepar Data Engineer/Analyst to advance the firm’s Addepar data capabilities. This role focuses on data engineering, platform analytics, integration support, data quality, automation, and investment data enablement across Addepar, Snowflake, Canoe, and reporting platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, CS, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years hands‑on Addepar experience in wealth/asset management.
• 5+ years data engineering, analytics, or operations tech experience.
• Strong understanding of Addepar data model and data quality controls.
• Experience with Addepar imports/exports, integrations, and reconciliation.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL with data profiling and large datasets.
• Experience translating business needs into data requirements and specs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical/analytical resource for Brown Advisory’s Addepar data ecosystem.
• Build, maintain, and scale data pipelines between Addepar and Snowflake, reporting tools, and client platforms.
• Develop SQL queries, reconciliation logic, data quality controls, and automated checks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into data requirements and scalable solutions.
• Support ingestion, transformation, validation of portfolio, client, account, and reference data.
• Maintain documentation for data flows, mappings, and runbooks.
• Participate in testing, release planning, and change-management activities.
