Job summary

NBH Bank in Dallas is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to underwrite loan presentations, manage risk, and support relationship managers for mid-market clients generally exceeding $5 million in credit exposure. You will develop financial models, review borrower statements, and monitor portfolio performance with accuracy and diligence.

This role emphasizes disciplined analysis, timely reporting, and collaboration across Credit, Operations and Executive Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of relevant banking experience.
• Strong business writing skills.
• Self-starter personality with a passion to pursue further endeavors in the finance field.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Driving may be required with valid driver’s license and appropriate history.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite loan presentations ensuring overall success and growth of an assigned portfolio.
• Develop financial models for underwriting and credit analysis.
• Support relationship managers and portfolio managers with client management.
• Monitor portfolio quality and ensure compliance with credit standards.
• Collaborate with Credit Approval, Loan Operations and Executive Management.
• Participate in community and industry functions to promote the bank’s image.
