Transamerica is hiring a Hybrid Portfolio Management Intern for our Cedar Rapids, IA office. The internship runs January 2027 through December 2027, with 15 hours/week during school and 30–40 hours/week in the summer.
You will support Portfolio Analysts, Tactical Portfolio Managers and Strategists, preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and a monthly client package while gaining exposure to Aladdin and Bloomberg.

Internships are short-term work experiences for a designated period of time that allow college students the opportunity to observe and participate in the professional work environment, to explore how his/her interests relate to possible careers, and to gain practical experience in an industry relating to their field of study.
We are looking to hire one hybrid intern in our Cedar Rapids, IA office. The internship is scheduled to begin in January 2027 and end in December 2027. The hourly commitment during the school year is approximately fifteen (15) hours per week, and approximately thirty to forty (30-40) hours per week during the summer.
The Portfolio Management Department consists of Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Analysts, and Portfolio Management Interns with the primary responsibility of supporting the Transamerica General Account portfolio. The interns will assist the Portfolio Analytics Group in providing analytical, organizational and reporting support to the team of portfolio managers and strategists that manage Transamerica’s fixed income portfolios.
In addition to gaining exposure to the financial services and insurance industry, students gain access to intern exclusive events and networking opportunities throughout the summer while receiving a competitive compensation.
