Job summary

Sixth Street is expanding its Portfolio Accounting team in Dallas. This full-time role focuses on supporting investing and accounting activities across private equity, hybrid, and liquid credit funds.

You will handle counterparty management, cash management and treasury tasks, and contribute to performance analysis and reporting for investment professionals. We value strong communication, hands-on attention to detail, and a solid GAAP background.

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate strong GAAP knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work in a hands-on, detail-oriented team.
• Preferred CPA or equivalent certification and a background in accounting for investment management or private equity.

Responsibilities

• Support, record and reconcile investing and related cash activities with Operations and Fund Accounting teams.
• Ensure timely, accurate booking of fund investments in GAAP-compliant systems; oversee reconciliation to Funds’ Administrator.
• Provide oversight of the Funds’ Administrator and assist in daily/monthly reporting to investment professionals and firm management.
• Assist in automation projects and development of new technology to improve processes.
• Maintain internal controls and efficient business processes; identify and resolve accounting/reporting issues.
