Portfolio Accounting API - Software Engineer

Job description

Multiple openings - work is onsite (not remote) at client office in metro-Boston area.

We are building a next‑gen portfolio and investment accounting system.

General skillsets:

• Senior backend / full‑stack engineer (Java, Spring Boot)
• React (working knowledge; lightweight UI / operational screens)
• Microservices with event streaming & messaging (Kafka / Azure Event Hubs)
• API design (REST and messaging contracts, schema & versioning)
• Relational data modeling (PostgreSQL)
• Cloud native services - ideally Azure

Experience in the investment/financial services space needed - portfolio accounting, trading, compliance, clearing/settlements, SWIFT/ACH.
