Job summary

Fortress Investment Group LLC is hiring a Credit Portfolio Accountant in Dallas, TX. You will maintain SPV accounting records, perform bi-weekly transaction reviews, and coordinate with auditors to prepare financial statements and footnotes.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and timely reporting to support external disclosures. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 2-4 years in accounting, and familiarity with US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience in public or private accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records for SPVs across Credit Funds.
• Bi-weekly reviews of transactional activity with Operations staff.
• Coordinate with auditors on deliverables and assist in preparing financial statements and footnotes.
• Prepare financial statements for external reporting and support ad-hoc projects.
