The Related Group is seeking a dependable maintenance team member to perform cleaning, basic repairs, and routine upkeep across properties in New Jersey. You will handle lighting fixtures, floor care, and common area cleaning, contributing to safe, attractive living environments.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least one year of hands-on maintenance experience, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Replace light bulbs and maintain cleanliness of rooms, hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs and office spaces.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and window sills.
• Wash walls, ceilings, windows and woodwork; manage waste disposal.
• Transport small equipment on the property and assist with basic upkeep.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Replacing light bulbs.
• Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs and office space.
• Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Washing walls, ceilings, windows and sills, door panels and woodwork.
• Transporting trash and waste to disposal area and emptying trash and garbage containers.
• Cutting and trimming grass, if required.
• Transporting small equipment or tools on property.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• A minimum of one year hands‑on maintenance experience in areas such as cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
