Job summary

Napleton Auto Park of Urbana, part of the Ed Napleton Automotive Group, is seeking a Porter to keep the lot neat and ready, move vehicles as directed by sales and service managers, and assist with customer deliveries in a busy dealership setting.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group offers pay ranges of $18.00–$20.00 per hour, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and sick time, and growth opportunities within a family‑owned, multi‑brand organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate and drive manual & automatic transmissions.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to transport customers and vehicles as needed.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screen in accordance with local laws.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed.
• Assisting with customer deliveries.
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary.
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Located at Napleton Auto Park of Urbana, the Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles and transporting vehicles and customers.
