Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Porter for Toyota of Urbana to keep the vehicle lot neat, move units, and assist with customer deliveries and showroom readiness.

The role supports dealership operations and requires handling vehicles, driving both manual and automatic transmissions, and abiding by safety and policy guidelines. A competitive hourly wage and benefits are offered within a large, established automotive group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate an automobile and drive manual & automatic transmissions.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed.
• Assisting with customer deliveries.
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary.
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Located at Toyota of Urbana, the Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles and transporting vehicles and customers.
